NATO summit in Lisbon

In Lisbon on Friday and Saturday (19 and 20 November) the NATO summit will be held. The main topics on the agenda will be the situation in Afghanistan and Pakistan; the new plans of the Alliance for a new anti-missile shield; partnership with Russia. Another important event that euinside will follow in the framework of the forum will be the EU-US summit, the holding of which was under question for almost a year.

The #IMF has published its debt sustainability report on #Greece with new projections and proposals ahead of the key #Eurogroup meeting today which is expected to bridge the differences with the euro area on the restructuring of the Greek debt. According to the IMF, the proposed by the Eurogroup measures, like extension of maturities and payment deferrals would not be sufficient, therefore it is proposing also fixing interest rates.
