A eurosceptic has won the presidential elections in #Poland - Andrzej Duda from the Law and Justice party. According to preliminary results, he received 52% of the votes against 48% for the incumbent Bronisław Komorowski from Donald Tusk's Civil Platform. Although the president in Poland does not set the tone in foreign policy, Poland is expected to make a turn which could be sharper after the parliamentary elections toward euroscepticism, deepening of relations with UK, Central Europe and US. Ignacy Niemczycki, senior analyst for European affairs for Polityka, believes that Andrzej Duda will have a tougher rhetoric toward Russia. He underscored many times during the campaign the need of permanent presence of NATO forces in Poland. Warsaw's current course has been toward improvement of relations with Germany and toward getting closer with Berlin. This is expected to change, according to the Polish analyst
