EU Leaders Dinner on May 23
The European Union leaders are gathering for an informal dinner on May 23rd in Brussels in order to discuss the opportunities to boost economic growth and jobs creation across the EU. The purpose of the summit, as European Council President Herman Van Rompuy explained in his letter to the leaders, is not specific decisions to be taken but to lay the grounds for the June European Council to draw the future actions, which will also be based on proposals, which the European Commission will propose on May 30. This dinner will be the first participation of the new French president, Francois Hollande, on European stage. As usual, euinside will follow live the summit as in our Free Talk Corner, so with in depth articles. You can follow us also on Facebook and Twitter.
