Davos

This is the topic where euinside follow the annual World Economic Forum which takes place in the Swiss resort town of Davos. In the forum take part government representatives of the world’s top 25 economies and fast-growing small countries. This is the only large forum which gathers together heads of state and government and CEOs from the biggest world corporations and companies.

The German #Bundestag has ratified the accession treaty of #Croatia with great majority. The document has to be ratified now by the upper chamber of the German parliament. Germany remained the last country not to have completed the ratification procedure. Croatia is scheduled to join the EU on July 1st and the ratification instruments must be presented in Rome on June 3rd at the latest.
