The Unemployment in Bulgaria is rising

Unemployment in Bulgaria by the end of November has reached 320,000 people which is with 104,000 people more compared to a year earlier, the data of Industry Watch show. According to the Employment Agency, the unemployment rate in November has reached 8.7%. The economic experts of Industry Watch say though, that the information of the Employment Agency differ from that of the National Statistical Institute which claims that at the end of the 3rd quarter the unemployed were 234,000 people while the Employment Agency shows that the number of the unemployed for the same period was 290,000 people. There are also significant differences in employment rates in different Bulgarian regions. Traditionally, the unemployment in Northern Bulgaria is higher than the average for the country.
