The Blue coalition starts estimation of the economy

Published: May 18, 2009 13:03, Adelina Marini, Sofia

As promised on the 5th of May, the Blue coalition starts today its first meeting with representatives of the unions to get a real estimation about the economy and the scales of the unemployment. The economic team of the coalition will be meeting today the unions, the press centre of the coalition reported. On the 5th of May the coalition leaders said they would start a series of meetings with employers, unions and economists to make a reality check of the state of the economy because, they said, the government was hiding the real data. Last week euinside asked how those meetings were going on but the leader of the DSB (Democrats for Strong Bulgaria) said that because of the problems around the UDF registration for the elections, they hadn't managed with any meetings.

More details will follow shortly.
